Hystory

The ’70:

Isopan's history stretches way back: in 1974 the company MEDITERRANEA S.p.A. was established , with its headquarters in MILAN. This was the first official step in the birth of the “isolating panel” venture, and the following year the company changed its name to Isopan.

The ’80/'90:

The buying out of the company in Patrica (FR) by the Gruppo Manni took place in 1988 .As the Gruppo's management took hold, Isopan immediately laid out a strategic development plan with the aim of improving and strengthening the brand's position on the Italian insulating panel market.

During the nineties, Isopan's results were excellent: the range of Isopan's products and services grew over the years and the market appreciated the Isopan brand. This is why it was decided to invest in the galvanised chequer plate, tinplate and panel accessories sector with its own production range.

From 2000 to present day:

In 2000 With Gruppo Manni Hp's europeisation plan, it was decided to invest in a new production plant, with the aim of being able to respond to the growing European demand quicker and more efficiently. : in 2001 the new production plant ISOPAN IBERICA in Tarragona (Spain) was opened.

In 2002 Panel production in Italy increased with the construction and starting up of a new production plant Isopan in Trevenzuolo (Verona). This plant is equipped with the latest production systems and is specialised in the production of special panels such as Isodomus.

Also in 2002 a project to start up a coils and tinplate service centre is set up for Patrica (Frosinone). This was to be a further development in the Isopan range in the world of steel, and was necessary to satisfy established clients' needs.

In 2006 The new Isopan Est production plant in Bucharest (Rumania) is opened: the Isopan brand was already well known because it had occupied a large share of the Rumanian market for years with exports from Italy of insulating panels to be used in industrial, cold and residential construction..
